Frequently Asked Questions
1. What are the requirements for installing dishwasher machines?
Connecting a new dishwasher requires three connections: a power-cord connection, a water supply connection, and a drain line connection
2. Do dishwashers need to be professionally installed?
Installing a dishwasher can be a DIY job, but it is always best to hire a professional company to install a dishwasher for you, to avoid any plumbing issues. Dishwashers can cause issues in the long run when they are not installed properly.
3. Do dishwashers save water?
Contrary to popular belief, the dishwasher is designed to be more efficient than the way most of us wash dishes by hand. When you use your dishwasher every night instead of handwashing for just 10 minutes, you save 100 gallons of water a week. That's over 5,000 gallons in a year, or more than 80,000 glasses of water.

2. What does a washing machine need to be connected to?
A washing machine is normally connected to the cold and hot water systems, but quite a few will work with just a cold supply while dishwashers usually only need a cold supply. If your machine is supplied from the pipe that feeds your kitchen tap, the water will be at mains pressure.
3. How long does a washing machine installation take?
It usually takes less than an hour to install a washer.
4. What is not included in the washing machine install?
This service does not include permits, plumbing, electrical, modification of cabinetry, flooring or walls, or removal of door frames, railings, wall hangings or other affixed obstacles in the pathway. The connection of internet-capable appliances to a home network is also not included.
5. Do I need to turn off water when installing washer?
Turn off the water. If there are no taps or isolation valves on the hot and cold water supply or they are not usable, you will have to turn off the mains water supply and then fit these.
6. Can you connect a washing machine to normal taps?
You can connect one of the washing machine supply hoses to any faucet that has an aerator with external threads. The faucet needs to have an aerator for this adapter to work, and since only single-handle faucets do, you can only connect one of the washing machine's two supply hoses.
7. How do clean a washing machine?
Add Vinegar to the Washing Machine and Start a Cycle
Wipe Down the Lid and the Rest of the Washing Machine
Focus In on the Detergent and Fabric Softener Dispenser
Run Another Cycle with Baking Soda
Leave the Lid Open and Let It Air Dry Out
